Pretty Painted Flowers Greeting Card

There's nothing like an original painting to brighten someones day. It's a great idea to send a little original art on a card for a birthday, a thank you, or just to keep in touch, this is  card for it. I painted these flowers directly onto the front of the card using acrylic paints.

Thinking About you on Your Special Day Mixed Media Note Card

This is a great card to send to someone on their "special day". It could be their birthday, an anniversary, a recognition day....I could go on and on.... This card will let them know you're thinking about them.

The art work on this one is a reproduction of a mixed media piece that i did using acrylics, wire, and fabric. It's printed on watercolor paper and mounted on red card stock. Since the card stock is a darker red I put white paper on the inside so that it will be easier to write that special message.

Check it out in my Etsy store...

Pretty Blank Green Note Card With Flower

This is a pretty blank green note card done using card stock and, adhesive papers,  perfect for sending a quick 'thank you', or a writing a note to say 'hello' to an old friend the old fashioned way (no email). Not knocking technology, but handwritten letters and notes are so much more fun...

Good Luck Note Card

Ever thought about a friend who has a big interview coming up or a "big deal" exam that they have to pass? Wouldn't it be nice to let them know that you're thinking about them by sending them a "Good Luck" card? I know that if I got a "Good Luck" card when I really needed it, it would really make my day.

Sometimes it's nice to let people know that you're thinking about them and the things they're facing. A little card with a positive note inside can go a long way.

Inspirational Butterfly Quote Note Card

"If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies..." I like this because it reminds me that change is good. I design a lot of cards, bookmarks, and magnets using this.

When I worked on this card I used a torn piece of watercolor paper that I'd done a watercolor wash on, added some punched butterflies, and the saying that I'd printed on some handmade paper.

Mini Painted Christmas Tree Card Tags

These mini card gift tags are perfect for your gift giving season. The painted Christmas trees are by no means perfect, but that's part of their charm, and they will be a great finishing touch to any gift.

Teacher Of The Year Card

It's always nice to recognize a great teacher. I made this card for a wonderful Spanish teacher who was chosen as the Teacher Of The Year for 2011 at one of our local elementary schools.

I think that we should always take the time to let our teachers know when they're doing an outstanding job.

Pretty Flat Cards With Stickers

I don't use stickers often, but I thought that these flowers were pretty, so I had to figure out where I would use them. I had these flat cards laying around and I decided that they were a great home for my pretty stickers. Now these cards are perfect for writing letters or for journaling... a splash of color and a hint of springtime...

A Bouquet of Hearts and Love Blank Greeting Card

It's a few more days before we get to the big "LOVE" day, so I thought I'd put this card up. I like this one because it's a simple expression of love. I think that sometimes we get caught up in only expressing our love on specific days. Why wait for just one day to say "I love you"? Everyday should be a "LOVE" day.

XOXO Punched Heart Flower Card

I recently bought a bunch of punched hearts from All About The Buttons (one of my favorite sellers) that were in her store on Zibbet, and this is one of the cards that I made with some of them. With Valentine's Day coming up I thought that I'd add it to the Etsy store.

Hearts are a really versatile shape that can become the base of lots of designs. I went with the flower on this one and added the button with thoughts of whose shop the punched hearts came from. :-)

Blank Any Occasion Notecards

Whenever I get the chance I like to make sets of note cards that anyone can use for any occasion. They are great to have on hand for writing quick notes, 'thank yous', or just for keeping in touch the old fashioned way.

I like the graphic elements of the paper that I used for the band on this one, as well as the horizontal lines on the card blank.

Butterfly Get Well Soon Card

Know someone who's not feeling well? Why not brighten their day with a handmade card? I kept this one simple using torn embossed paper, a dimensional butterfly sticker, and a stamped sentiment. Simple, to the point, and sure to brighten someone's day.

Friendship Note Card

I'm in the studio again and back to work trying to get back into the swing of things. I've been working on some new cards for Etsy and this is one of them.

Friends are truly the flowers in life's garden, and if you're fortunate enough to have a great friend in your life, then here's the perfect card for hailing that friendship.

I love the bold stripes on this one... vibrant, colorful, and making a statement.

Funky Flower Note Card

I call this one the 'Funky Flower' note card, not perfect but you get the picture... I just listed it on Etsy. It's done in acrylic on watercolor paper, trimmed and matted with a complimentary paper, and mounted onto the front of the note card.

Mixed Media Art Card

It's been a while since I made one of these mixed media art cards for my Etsy shop. I used some torn handmade paper in the background, and decorative floral paper and fabric for her outfit. Lots of fun to make... I think I'll have to make a few more.

Love Notes

I'm still in the love mode. I'm not much of a stamper, but I really liked this one because of the love sentiments that it conveys. After stamping I added the heart that's painted on a torn section of handmade paper. Keeping it simple as usual...

A Card For Valentine's Day

With Valentine's Day approaching I'm seeing hearts everywhere. I liked this paper because the hearts come together to make flowers, and I thought that it would be a pretty way to send some love. I cut a simple strip of red paper for the band and added the 'Hugs and Kisses' sticker on top as added sentiments.

Buttons and Retro Paper Note Card

When I saw this paper I immediately thought of adding buttons to it to add a 3 dimensional feature. I trimmed out the lower half of the card blank with a strip of the paper, then added the button to the center circle. I was lucky enough to find a button that was a great match.
